We were up and away before 9.30.
Some of the track today.
I was designated Tail end Charlie (TEC)- which is a good spot cos you get to see what’s going on in front. Our order today had Sarah leading with Stef second, Mary in third with Col next, then me.
Good views as TEC
Today we turned down Erabena track to head for a look at Lone Gum.

Signs saying exactly that

We turned towards Lone Gum

An old sign along the way/ being Tail End Charlie means you can do these things without stopping everyone

The others have arrived at Lone Gum.
Here we are all lined up again.
A few spelling errors- not great proofreading
An amazing old Coolinah. There are now a couple of young trees growing beside it. But for years it has stood sentinel - alone.
From the other side.
We saw a few dingoes today.
After Lone Gum we took Rig Road towards a Knolls Track
Col has been taking some GoPro footage. Attaching camera to his vehicle looking back at me.
My view today
There were less dunes today, the wind has swept this one.
Others I have harder sections eroded by wind and maybe water
Lunch stop along the Rig Road, Sarah noticed a rubber strip hanging under the Pajero, so Phil was under to replace the strap that had come free between the extra fuel tank and its bracket.
After lunch we wended our way along the Rig Road and around/across some large salt pans.
Near the Knolls Track intersection we had a dingo join the convoy, trotting along the track in front of us and then continued to follow us along Knolls.
