22.6.18. D day minus 1.

Last day of work. Managed to get away from work a little early. Home to pack last minute bits and the cat.

Heading down the freeway and heard about a truck accident on Westgate causing havoc across city.

I decided that home via the hills - Neerim South, Yarra Junction, Healesville, Yea, Seymour, Murchison, Rushworth, Girgarre, Echuca, then out to Dad’s. 

Twas quickly dark and foggy and wet - fined up past Yea thankfully.

Aero travelled well and is right now ensconced beside me on the bed.

Dad had made a nice tomato noodle casserole and we sorted a few last minute things and tried to troubleshoot some tech issues. Well past bedtime now.

Tomorrow into town to get some more tech help then a quick coffee before I hit the road for real. Destination = Mildura.
